CORDELE — Mrs. Willie Maude Hall Jackson, age 87, of Americus, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Crisp Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Cheek Memorial Baptist Church. The Rev. Rick Smith, the Rev. Matt Johnson and Janice Debice will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The following will serve as active pallbearers: Jerry English, Brandon English, Josh Masters, Blake Masters, Michael Lamberth, Pat Turner, Matt Johnson, and Donnie Turner. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Aldridge Funeral Services.

Mrs. Jackson was born July 5, 1931, in Byronville, Ga., daughter of the late Otis W. Hall and the late Emma Barry Hall. She retired from Manhattan shirt factory after 27 years and later worked for Walmart as a door greater. She was a member of Cheek Memorial Baptist Church in Americus.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Sheila Masters of Americus, Janie Wodzinski (Stanley) of Ellaville, Teresa English (Brad) of Americus, and Vickie Robinson (Robbie) of Ellaville; one son Richard Donald Jackson of Fitzgerald; and 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband Roy Roscoe Jackson; a son Roy Roscoe Jr.; three sisters Janie Cauley, Elizabeth Crutchfield and Tommie Jo Herbert; a brother Otis Hall Jr.; a grandson Chad Masters’ and a son-in-law Ike Masters.
