VALDOSTA — Anna Lee Shannon Greneker, 49, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Valdosta, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors, Tifton, with the Rev. Steven Golden officiating. Interment will follow in Enigma Cemetery.
Anna was born June 12, 1969, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Tillman Stanley Shannon and Judy Flanders Slappey. She was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Dasher Christian Academy and Georgia Military College with an associate’s in history. Anna loved her only son Gage with all her heart. She loved to read her bible and it showed she read it a lot. She loved her dog Brody and loved to fish. She was so excited about starting a life with Kenneth, whom she was engaged to.
Survivors are her parents, Judy and Marvin Slappey of Ellaville, and Stan and Carrol Shannon of Lake Park; her son, Gage Greneker of Atlanta; two sisters, Amy Shannon Scarborough of Alpharetta and Amanda Carol Shannon of Valdosta; one niece and two nephews; her aunts and uncle, Norma Jean and Bob Croak of Albany, Joan and Lee Saxon of Peachtree City, Emily Suzanne Flanders of Tifton and her fiancé Kenneth Grim.
