The Sumter County School District will be closed Friday, April 19 due to the  oreecast of severe rain, damaging winds, and brief tornadoes expected to occur between the hours of 5 and 8 a.m. All schools including Furlow Charter School and the central office will be closed until after Spring Break. Classes will resume on Monday, April 29.
