AMERICUS — The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce will host the 2019 Legislative Session Wrap-Up Luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. May 14 at Georgia Southwestern State University, Wheatley Building, 800 Georgia Southwestern State University Drive. This year’s sponsor for the luncheon is Georgia Power Company.
Justin Arnold, chair of the Governmental Affairs Division said, “At this event, you will have the opportunity to hear from our distinguished state legislators, Sen. Freddie Powell-Sims, Sen. Greg Kirk, Rep. Ed Rynders, and Rep. Mike Cheokas. The panel will recap the highlights of the session and share the successes of the 2019 Legislative Session. We are excited to host our distinguished delegation as they discuss issues of importance and impact to the Sumter County business community.”
The Legislative Session Wrap-Up Luncheon is open to the public. Cost to attend the luncheon for Chamber members is $20, and $25 for non-members.
