Recently the 2019 edition of the Southland Academy Raider yearbook was presented to Headmaster Ty Kinslow and the student body. The Raider staff selected the theme ‘Set in Stone,’ inviting everyone to cherish the memories and friendships established while at Southland. Kinslow was also the recipient of this year’s dedication. Editor Macy Williams and senior staffer Sydney Payne, both members of Kinslow’s Lady Raider basketball team, led the presentation with Payne remarking, “He is a fantastic coach, an honorable headmaster, and when duty calls, an outstanding dancer! … He truly cares about what we do and more importantly, who we become.” Shown here are members of the 2019 Raider yearbook staff seniors Macy Williams, editor, Katie Carver, Scout Davis, Deepa Patel, Priyal Patel, and Sydney Payne, and juniors Hannah Adkins, Kagen Mathis, and Hannah Mitchell.
