The Americus Fire & Emergency Services will conduct a pressurized container burn on the evening of Wednesday, May 8, in the parking lot of the old Sumter Regional Hospital, off East Forsyth St. The set up for the burn will begin around 6 pm, with the actual burn starting around dark.
