Shortly before the school year ended, the JROTC class at Americus-Sumter Ninth Grade Academy held its award ceremony in the Media Center with teachers and their classmates. Each student received a certificate along with a ribbon to go on their uniform in the following areas: Proficiency, Commendation, Good Conduct, Personal Appearance, Academic, Achievement Award, Honor Roll, and Perfect Attendance.
