Busman places third in writing competition

Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) student Melinda Busman, of Americus, was named the third-place winner in academic writing for the Delores Capitan Writing Award at GSW’s 2019 Student Recognition Ceremony on April 12 in the Marshall Student Center. These awards are given by William H. Capitan, Ph.D., the university’s eighth president, to honor his late wife’s love of writing and to foster writing across the curriculum.
