Arrests made in recent armed robberies

AMERICUS — The Americus Police Department has arrested four suspects in the July armed robberies of two local businesses.

Jacoby Jamale Pride, 18, of Knollwood Drive, Americus has been charged with armed robbery for the July 27 robbery of Little Caesar’s Pizza on Lamar Street.

Jacory Devontae Peters, 20, of Pine Street, Americus has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony for the July 30 armed robbery of Flash Foods on Crawford Street, Americus.

Tykell Dewon Farrior, 18, was taken into custody around 4 p.m. Thursday during a traffic stop at the intersection of Lonnie Lane and East Lamar Street in Americus. He is charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Also identified as a suspect in the two armed robberies is Antonio Terrell Foster Jr., 18, of Americus. He turned himself in around 12:45 p.m. Friday at the Americus Police Department.
