AMERICUS — Approximately 150 children from Sumter County and surrounding areas attended our

Annual Children’s Health Fair on Saturday. In addition to education booths and vendors, free health screenings were offered to participants, including weight, BMI, blood pressure and blood sugar.
PSMC Nurse Jo Justice, RN, performs a finger stick glucose screening.
We also partnered with the local chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. to distribute school items such as pencils, paper, and rulers as local students prepare for the upcoming school year.
