Café Campesino recognized by Governor Brian Kemp as Small Manufacturer Nominee

AMERICUS — Café Campesino in Americus was recognized recently for its nomination as one of the top 100 small manufacturing companies in Georgia for 2019.
Café Campesino is Georgia’s first and only 100 percent fair trade organic coffee company and was nominated as one of the Small Manufacturers of the Year for 2019, by South Georgia Technical College in Americus. A small manufacturer is classified as a company with 150 or fewer employees.
As one of the nominees, Café Campesino received a plaque signed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Matt Arthur, Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia, which is a sponsor of the Manufacturers of the Year program.
Bill Harris Jr., Lee Harris, and Tripp Pomeroy represented Café Campesino at the 2019 Georgia Manufacturing Appreciation Week Manufacturers of the Year Governor’s Award Luncheon at the Georgia International Conference Center in Atlanta.
