Americus — PharmaCentra, LLC, Concentra Solutions, Inc. and CannabisBPO announce the appointment of their chief executive officer and founder, Daniel Berman, to The Carter Center’s Board of Councilors. This prestigious appointment comprises selected influential Georgia business leaders chosen to serve as an important channel of communication to private-sector opinion leaders in Atlanta and Georgia.

Berman expressed his gratification with the statement that “it is an honor to serve on the Carter Center Board of Councilors on many levels. President Carter and the Carter Center tackle some of the most difficult issues globally in areas of health, housing and mental health that usually get very little attention. The efforts of the Carter Center don’t just bring light to the issues but create cures and a path for a better life for millions of people. My connection to Americus and Plains has made me keenly aware of the contribution President Carter and the Center continue to bring to our region and the world. It’s not often one gets to be part of a team that cures diseases. That’s what this is all about. Helping people who are the most vulnerable.”

“Our Board of Councilors creates an intimate link between The Carter Center, the city of Atlanta, and the state of Georgia by helping us to promote the work and mission of the Center in their communities,” Carter said.
