DAWSON, GA – Southland Academy junior guard Maddie Crisp scored 21 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead the Lady Raiders (SA) to a 41-23 victory over Terrell Academy on Friday, January 10, in Dawson, GA.
With the win, SA improves its overall record to 11-2 and 1-0 in the GISA Region 3-AAA standings.
In addition to the performance by Crisp, other Lady Raiders turned in significant contributions. Riley Mitchell scored nine points and tallied six steals. Holly McCain scored five points and grabbed nine rebounds and Morgan Weaver chipped in four points. Reese Roland scored two points to round out the Lady Raiders’ scoring.
Up next for SA is a region game at Tiftarea Academy on Tuesday, January 14, at 6:30 p.m. The Lady Raiders will then host Deerfield-Windsor on Thursday, January 16, at 6:30 p.m.
