Citizens Bank of Americus is proud to announce the promotion of two of their employees, Vonda Rushing and Ida Woolums. Rick Whaley, President/CEO of Citizens Bank of Americus, commented “These two talented bankers have been strong contributors to the bank’s success and we are fortunate to have them”.
Vonda Rushing has been promoted to Senior Vice President and serves as the bank’s Deposits Operations Manager. She has over 42 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Citizens Bank in 2017, she served as Regional Operations Manager for Synovus Bank.
Ida Woolums has been promoted to Banking Officer and is the Head Teller at the Lee Street location. Ida began working at Citizens Bank in 2002 and prior to that she was a Head Teller at Wachovia Bank for seven years.
