AUGUSTA – Southland Academy senior guard Adam Smith was recently selected as a GISA All-Star and invited to play in the annual GISA All-Star weekend at Augusta Prep School on Friday and Saturday, March 6-7.
As a member of the GISA Blue Squad, Smith scored seven points, grabbed three rebounds and dished out two assists to help his team defeat the GISA Red Team 79-65 in the game on Friday, March 6.
Each team consisted of 12 players from the GISA AA and AAA schools.
On Saturday, March 21, Smith’s team defeated the AAA South Carolina All-Stars by the score of 103-92.
