Number of COVID-19 cases in Sumter County has risen to 276 with 13 fatalities

AMERICUS – According to the Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH), the total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in Sumter County continues to climb. As of Wednesday evening, April 15, the GDPH reports that there are 276 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the county and that 13 people have succumbed to the disease.
