AMERICUS – Two South Georgia Technical College Electronics Technology Degree students have been selected to participate in the Pathways Program at Warner Robins Air Force Base (RAFB).  The program offers federal internship and employment opportunities for current students, recent graduates and those with an advanced degree.

SGTC Electronics students Quentin Edwards and Brent Allegood both of Ellaville, Georgia accepted the 6-month paid internship with Warner Robins Air Force Base as Electronics Mechanics. They will be working on Electronic Aircraft Systems at RAFB.  Mike Collins, Instructor, Electronics Technology, says these students have acquired electronics technology theory and practical application necessary for successful employment.

The Electronics Technology Degree program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for careers in electronics professions.
