Judith Kathleen Exley (Judy), 82 passed away on January 19, 2024, in Americus, GA.  She was born October 17, 1941, to the late Louis Henry and Catherine Kuhlman in St. Louis, MO.  Raised in Farmington, MO on her family’s turkey farm, she learned at an early age the value of hard work and love of family.  Judy was married to the love of her life Wayne Exley for 60 years.  A graduate of the University of Missouri, she spent most of her career working at Georgia Southwestern State University.  She was a devoted Catholic who attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Americus since 1972.  Judy loved spending time with her family, which included attending sporting events involving her grandchildren, taking frequent family vacations, and playing cards with her husband.  She is loved by many and will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel from 6PM-8PM. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10AM with Deacon Bernie Bosse officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the home of Phillip and Sandy Exley at 172 Hooks Mill Rd. Americus, GA.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years Wayne Exley; her sons Christopher Exley (Sherry) of Senoia, GA, Stephen Exley (MK) of Evans, GA, Phillip Exley (Sandy) of Americus, GA; her sisters Sandy Vasquez of Yuma, AZ, Sue Sago (Dan) of Perryville, MO, Nancy Pittard (Tracy) of Ormond Beach, FL; her grandchildren Tyler, Owen, Luke, Cole Exley and Jessica Scimeca (Josh) of Atlanta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her brother Ron Kuhlman, her sisters Bette Riopel and Carol Bertrand.
