Several GSW baseball players are competing in summer leagues across the country

AMERICUS – Several Georgia Southwestern State University baseball players are continuing to hewn their skills as they compete in various summer leagues across the country.

GSW pitcher Carsen Plumadore is pitching for the Wausau Woodchucks in Wausau, Wisconsin of the North Woods League. So far, Plumadore has pitched in one game. In that game, he pitched two innings and gave up two runs with three walks and two strikeouts.

Also competing in the North Woods League is GSW catcher Kelsen Johnson. Johnson plays for the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. So far, Johnson has played in two games, going 1 for 5 with an RBI.

GSW pitchers J.D. Price and James Fordham both compete for the Full Count Rhythm of the Prospect League in Hendersonville, TN. Another GSW pitcher who is hewning his skills over the summer is Daniel Barcena. Barcena pitches for the Williamsport Crosscutters of the MLB Draft League in Williamsport, PA.

Last, but certainly not least, GSW outfielder Kaleb Henry is playing for the Covington Lumberjacks of the Valley League in Covington, VA.
