Jimmy Lewis Holley, Sr. age 82 of Americus, passed away Thursday, June 06, 2024 at Perfect Care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 8, 2024 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Damon Fountain will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the chapel.
Jimmy Lewis Holley was born November 21, 1941 in Americus. He was the son of the late James Allen Holley and the late Mary Pearl Martin Holley. He retired from Southeast Terminal, where he worked as a Petroleum Pipeline Terminal Manager. Jimmy was a devoted Christian and former member of Faith Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jimmy never met a stranger, he always had a smile and loved to talk to people.
Survivors include his son, Jimmy Lewis Holley Jr. of Americus. Two daughters and a son-in-law, Amy Holley Bone of Americus and Stephanie Holley Garner (Darrell) of Florida. Jimmy is also survived by six grandchildren, Kayla Holley, Kori Holley, Abby Harrod, Kendal Harrod, Evan Garner and Ashton Garner.
In addition to his parents Mr. Holley was preceded in death by, his wife, Patricia Howell Holley; his daughter, Donna Holley Reeves; his son-in-law, Todd Bone; two sisters, Lottie Holley, Flossie Morris and two brothers, Allen Holley, Bobby Holley and a grandson David Reeves Jr.
