The students in Eddierene S. Prather’s fourth-grade reading class went to the computer lab to research Harriet Tubman and Martin Luther King, Jr.  Here is a list of the the activities that the students had to complete: 1. Students had to use the research information to create a Venn diagram; 2. In the Venn diagram, students had to have at least seven details about each person, and three details that compared the two people; 3. Students had to use the information in the Venn diagram to write a paper that compared and contrasted Harriet Tubman and Martin Luther King Jr.; 4. Students had to let a classmate peer edit their papers. 5. Students had to use the editing marks to write a final draft. Students had to type the paper using a 12 or 14 font; 6.  Students had to present the paper to the class. The students did an excellent researching and presenting their papers. They really enjoyed using the computers.
