WARNER ROBINS – Former Atlanta Falcons Linebacker, Buddy Curry and Bobby Butler will soon kick off their 15th year of Youth Football Camps across the Southeast, in conjunction with Kids & Pros Inc., by hosting the first camp of the summer in Warner Robins.
Kids & Pros will hold a special free Youth Football Camp on June 6-8 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Tanner Park in Warner Robins.
In addition to three days (nine hours) of football instruction, there will be a special Parent Info Session on the first day of camp (June 6) from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This session is open to surrounding area youth recreation and school coaches and parents interested in learning more about the following:  The impact of a coach as a role model, character building through football, equipment fitting, concussion avoidance, and proper skill training and tackling techniques (the steps of proper football tackling technique and other skills to avoid injuries).
NFL alumni, Buddy Curry (Atlanta Falcons 1980-1988), and Bobby Butler (Atlanta Falcons 1981–1992), will be on hand to help lead the camp. Additionally, there will be a special Post Camp Awards Event at Rigby’s Entertainment Complex, free for all of the camp participants on June 9 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Curry, a USA Football Master Trainer, incorporates safe tackling techniques into his clinics along with life skill lessons. The safe, non-contact football instruction teaches campers, parents, and coaches the right way to play and how to avoid injuries such as concussions.
Space is limited for this event and online registration is now closed, but walk-up registration will be allowed for any no-shows to the camp. Athletes and parents interested in the event must arrive at 5:30 p.m. and report to registration.
Kids & Pros, Inc. is a non-profit organization, started in 2002 by former Atlanta Falcons, Bobby Butler and Buddy Curry, to teach character and skills through athletics. Kids and Pros will celebrate its 15th Summer Camp season beginning in June, providing weekly youth football camps, clinics and football safety training across the Southeast.
