Karate Math is an initiative to have all students at Sumter County Intermediate School know their multiplication facts. The school has over 100 students who have mastered a black belt in Karate Math. The students enjoyed a celebration with an actual karate instructor who gave an exciting demonstration, and taught some them a few karate moves. They also enjoyed some fried rice and sodas. Special thanks to Chief Martial Arts Instructor, Willie Bryant, for donating histime, and to the Dragon Palace Express for their donation of fried rice. Shown is Madison Shelton showing one of the new moves she learned.
