Americus
New Corinth Baptist Church
The Freewill Usher Union convenes at 11 a.m. Sunday. All ushers and churches are asked to be in attendance, and the public is invited.

Bethlehem Baptist Church
The annual Ushers; Anniversary is celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Dec. 6 during the worship service. Pastor Charles Carr delivers the message. Everyone is welcome.

Perry B. Grove Baptist Church
The annual Christmas give-away is at 4 p.m. Dec. 5. Everyone is invited.

Greater City Spring Baptist Church
The Progressive Ushers Union hosts its union at 11 a.m. Sunday. The community is invited.

Big Bethel Baptist Church
The Women’s Ministry invites everyone to the annual Candlelight Worship Service at 6 p.m. Dec. 6. Speaker is Evangelist Yolanda Franklin.

Ellaville
William Grove Baptist Church
The public is invited to the initial sermon of Brother Quinton Tyner at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 13.

Leslie
Perry Grove Baptist Church
Pastor David Hamm celebrates his sixth anniversary at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 with Bishop Melvin McCluster and Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in charge of the service. At 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1, Pastor Terrell Carter and New Shady Grove and New Bethel Baptist churches are in charge. At 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2, New Generation Church and its pastor of Fort Gaines are in charge. The celebration culminates at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 6 with Pastor Justin Johnson and New Birth Baptist Church of Edison in charge. Dinner will be served after the second sermon.

Freedom Harvest    Worship Center
At 3 p.m. Sunday, the Sons of Thunder Transformation is featured.
At 3 p.m. Dec. 7, the celebration of the church and pastor’s fifth anniversary features Pastor Donavon O. Coley and Forrest Park Baptist Church of Columbus.

Smithville
New Hope A.M.E. Church
A fifth Sunday Spiritual Cake Walk is at 5 p.m. Sunday with multiple speakers and churches on the program. Sister Carolyn Kimbrough brings the occasion and Deacon Rodney Banks is the emcee. Refreshments will be served.

Mitchell Grove Baptist Church
The church anniversary is celebrated at 7 p.m. Dec. 3-4. On the Dec. 3, Pastor Jimmy Loud of Corinth Holy Bible, brings  the message, and on Dec. 4, Apostle Keith Lundy of New Beginning Church brings the sermon. Everyone is invited.
