The Ag Mechanic team and the Junior and Senior Floriculture teams of Schley County High School recently traveled to Fort Valley State University. In the Floriculture CDE competition the Junior team was asked to identify 25 plants and take a general knowledge test consisting of 25 questions. The Senior team was asked to identify 25 plants, take a general knowledge test, a calculations test, identify plant disorders, tools and fertilizers. The Junior Floriculture team consisted of Timmy Bryan, Blake Masters and Jackson Benjamin. The Ag Mechanics team consisted of Austin Wills, Noah Smith, Matthew Holloway and Trey Mast. The Senior Floriculture team consisted of Samantha Bowden, Courtney Bryan, Marilyn Gutierrez and Shelbi Gladden.
