AMERICUS – The Southland Academy Raiders has put a trio of wins on the books over the last week. With a 68-44 victory over the Westwood Wildcats, a 67-37 win over the Valwood Valiants, and a narrow 56-51 victory over the Tiftarea Panthers, the Southland boys improve their overall record to 9-6. The Raiders move to third place in the GISA region 3AAA with a record of 5-3.

Southland senior Keyon Stone has led the team’s offense, posting 34 points against Westfield, 36 points against Valwood, and 13 points against Tiftarea.

The Raiders travel to Thomasville on Jan. 30 to face the Brookwood Warriors before heading to Perry to battle the Westfield Hornets on Jan. 31.
