Personnel with Americus Fire & Emergency Services participated on training earlier this week at the burn building in Macon County. They practiced entering a single-level structure, searching for victims and extinguishing a fire. They practiced entering the main level of a structure with a basement, searching for victims and extinguishing fires on both the main level and basement. The training was held three days so every shift had a practice.
