VIDEO: 95-year-old man sets sprinting world record
For most senior citizens, the thought of lacing up a pair of running shoes and hitting a track is linked solely to memories of their younger glory days. Consider 95-year-old Charles Eugster the exception. On Sunday, the retired dentist set a new world record for the 200-meter indoor race in his age group. Eugster’s time of 55.48 seconds broke the old record by 2.4 seconds. With his record-breaking sprint, Eugster is living proof that you really are as old as you feel.
