Schley County High School, along with six more high schools,  represented the Area 1 Literary Meet on March 5 in in Irwin County. Schley County High School tied with Marion County High School for the win. The Schley team consisted of Sobia Bhatti, first in the girls dramatic presentation and girls extemporaneous speaking; Leigh Crumbley, first in girls essay and girls trio; Jessica Reese, Rockell Hicks and Taylor Simpson, second, trio; Braxton Crews, second in boys essay; Doug Goodin, fourth in boys dramatic presentation; Nekeivious Sims, fourth in boys solo. Sobia Bhatti and Leigh Crumbley advance to State Competition Saturday. Congratulations  to all of you, and good luck girls.
