Americus

Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church

Palm Sunday is celebrated along with Christian Education Day at 11 a.m. Sunday. On April 5, the Young People’s Department presents its annual Easter Program immediately after the sermon. Everyone is invited.

Americus Pentecostal Church

The annual Youth Revival is 7:30 p.m. April 2 and 3. Speakers are Elder Cory Belcher and Elder Eric Carter. The public is invited.

New Jerusalem Baptist Church

Everyone is invited to the Shoe Rally Program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Solomon Loud of New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church of Albany, as speaker. Refreshments will be served.

New Ebenezer Baptist Church

A Fifth Sunday worship service is at 3 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. E.X. King along with New Hope and St. Paul A.M.E. churches of Smithville on the program. Everyone is invited.

Love of Christ Outreach Ministries

Services are at 7 p.m. April 1-3 with Pastor Zebedee Weston and Minister Wanda Doe as speakers.

Healing Temple Ministries

New St. Paul Baptist Church

Youth Revival is at 7 p.m. March 31-April 2 featuring the Rev. Coby McKenzie of Montezuma as guest speaker.

On April 5, the youth anniversary is celebrated, as well as an Easter program. Sunday School starts at 10 a.m., followed by worship at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Justin Johnson of Edison and Friendship Baptist Church of DeSoto.

St. Paul Baptist Church

The Free Will Usher Union meets at 7 p.m. today for its annual business session. All Usher Board presidents and ushers are requested to attend.

The Union continues at 11 a.m. Sunday. The public and area churches are invited.

Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church

Family and Friends Day is celebrated at 10 a.m. Sunday. Everyone is invited.

I (Heart) Church

Men of Integrity Movement (Real radical men dealing with real life issues) kicks off at 5 p.m. April 18 at the church at 121 Habitat St. Open to men ages 17 and older who want to see a positive change in their community and begin living a better life. Lebanon Baptist Church

The Progressive Ushers Union is at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Hosie Waters as speaker. Also on the program are the director of ushers Deacon J.C. Bryant Jr. and music by the choir. The community is invited.

Bethlehem Baptist Church

The church’s 151st anniversary is celebrated at 7 p.m. April 14-16. Guest speakers are Tuesday, Bishop Melvin McCluster and Friendship Baptist Church and choir; Wednesday, Pastor George Monts and Zion Hope Baptist Church and choir; and Thursday, Pastor Hosea Waters and Lebanon Baptist Church and choir.

The celebration culminates at 10:45 a.m. April 19 with service by Apostle Charles Carr. Dinner will be served. Colors are red and black.

New Life Temple of Deliverance Ministry
