Matthew Peck’s grandmother, Martha Ann Fennessy, was a mystery reader in Gayle Fisher’s fifth-grade homeroom at Southland Academy recently. She read the book titled The Little Baby Snoogleflegger written by President Jimmy Carter and illustrated by his daughter, Amy Carter Wentzel. Matthew assisted his grandmother with this entertaining story about a baby sea monster who makes friends with a little crippled boy. Afterward the reading the book, Fennessy treated the students with yummy refreshments.
