The Americus Police Department, in cooperation with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Region 3 Americus Office, are now investigating three deaths.

At 9:30 a.m. Monday, police were called to 1134 N. Jackson St., where they found the bodies of a black male and a black female inside the residence.

Around 10:50 a.m. police were summoned to 214-B E. Lester St. where they found the body of a black female. The GBI is heading this investigation.
