• Cassius T. Bess, 47, of 105 Knollwood Drive, No. 3-D, Americus is charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and was jailed.

• Alexus M. Coleman, 21, of 156 Jenkins Road, Americus is charged with contempt of court, and was jailed.

• Travis Cook, 27, of 114 Price St., Americus is charged with driving while declared an habitual violator, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and obstruction of law enforcement officer, and was jailed.

• Ronnie L. Cooper, 53, of 819 Mayo St., Americus, Apt. B-23, Americus is charged with possession of drug-related objects, no proof of insurance, failure to yield after stopping at stop sign, knowingly driving motor vehicle on suspended, canceled or revoked registration and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and was jailed.
