Americus
Morningside Methodist Church
A gospel sing is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday with music from Joyful Noise and Calvary Cross. A love offering will be taken for Dooly Campgrounds.
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
A Restoration Service is at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Ron Smith of Berachah Fellowship Church, Albany, bringing the message. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited. Sunday school starts at 9:45 a.m. and worship is at 11 a.m.
Five Fold Deliverance Ministry
Family and Friends Day is observed at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 302 Forrest St. Guest speaker is from Faith Clinic Ministry in Thomaston. Everyone is welcome.
Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church
The eighth anniversary of Pastor DeRienzia and first lady Vernice Johnson is celebrated with the theme, “Honoring our Pastor with Overwhelming Love.” A Pastor Appreciation Family Night Celebration is at 6 p.m. Saturday when dinner will be served. An Anniversary Worship Service is at 10 a.m. Sunday with the sermon by the Rev. Artha Grace of New Beginnings Church, Milledgeville. The public is invited.
