Brittany Carswell, senior at Americus-Sumter High School received the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution’s Medal recently from the local DAR Chapter, Council of Safety. Carswell received this award for outstanding leadership and service while assigned to the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the high school.
