AMERICUS — Laura Lee Bernstein, former Americus CAO, is embarking on a journey around the nation to raise money for the Sumter Humane Society. She’s taking her trusty “canine” Co Co with her and will be sending commentary, photos and videos every day to the Aemricus Times-Recorder. Bernstein and Co Co will be leaving later this month and will visit 48 states on their adventure to raise money for all the animals at the Sumter Humane Society.
