Civitans appreciated by Easter Seals

The Americus Civitan Club is one of the longest serving civic clubs in Americus and supports many community projects, with major emphasis on research and development for treatment and cures for all forms of disorders of the nervous system and brain function.
The Americus Civitan Club had as guest speaker, Nicki Wilson, director of Family Support for Easter Seals, who acknowledged the Americus Civitan Club’s continuous support for citizens with developmental disabilities. In addition to the centers in Americus, the Americus club made a contribution recently to Megan’s House in Albany which is a privately funded organization under Easter Seals which houses and cares for children with developmental disabilities such as autism, etc.
