AMERICUS — Sumter County Schools bus driver, Cynthia Wright,  rewarded students on her school bus (number 00-07) for Student of the Month, Lauryn Carter; Good Sportsmanship, Omar Lunu; and Good Citizenship, Aaliyah Peavy.
These students have demonstrated good behavior while riding the bus regularly in the mornings and afternoons during the month of August.
Wright will select three students each month for the rewards. She said the purpose of rewarding students is to motivate them to show good behavior on the bus and to show she values and appreciates their good behavior.
All the winners this month are students at Sumter Middle School.
