Thankful for recycling and scarecrows
I am writing to thank the City of Americus and those responsible for two things. First, I thank you for the new curbside recycling program you have initiated. I encourage the the city dwellers to participate by calling the city for the green plastic container. This will save a lot or recycling which can be used in other ways.
I also want to thank those responsible for the scarecrows that invade our city each October. It is fun to ride around and see the creative displays. It brightens my fall days.
