AMERICUS — Technical College System of Georgia Commissioner Gretchen Corbin will be keynote speaker at the South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) fall 2015 graduation exercise at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 in the James S. Peters Gymnasium on the Americus campus.
Corbin, as well as SGTC’s 2015 Instructor of the Year Raven Payne, will address the graduates and their families, fellow students, faculty, and staff during the commencement ceremony.
Approximately 150 students will be receiving an associate degree or diploma at the graduation exercise. Approximately 30 different students will be recognized as Presidential Honor Graduates or Honor Graduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher.
