AMERICUS — Sumter County Fire and Rescue held its quarterly volunteer firefighter dinner and the following awards were given.
Most Emergency Calls answered in 2015 – Firefighter Alex Arimendi; Volunteer Firefighter of the Year 2015 – Firefighter Donnie Gilliam; and Career Firefighter of the Year 2015 – Firefighter Keith Castleberry and Firefighter Robbie Marcy.
These individuals displayed their dedication to the citizens of Sumter County and the Sumter County Fire and Rescue throughout the year 2015.
