Americus
Healing Temple  Ministries
The Anointed Voices of Americus has its 10th year Pre-anniversary celebration at 4 p.m. Dec. 27. Groups on program are Devoted of Cordele, Glory Bound Gospel Singers of Cordele, The Gospel Sons of Montezuma, The Anointed Ones of Macon, Young Voices of Praise of Reynolds, and many more. Apostle Rosilyn Copeland and One Voice of Quincy, Fla., are special guests. This is an Open Door program and everyone is invited. Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church
Christmas Day Worship Services are at 10 a.m. Dec.  25 in celebration of Jesus’ birth.  Everyone is invited.

New Jerusalem Baptist Church
The church will not hold a morning service on Sunday but will hold a Christmas program at 3 p.m. The Rev. Solomon Loud, pastor, New Beginning Baptist Church, Albany is guest speaker. The public is invited.

Open Hands Community Christmas Dinner
Christmas Day dinner served at noon Dec. 25 at First United ethodist Church, 200 S. Lee St. Dine in. Enjoy fellowship. Celebrate Christmas. Carry-outs available if food remains after all have been served. Shut-ins may call 924-7072 or 942-2830.

Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church
“Christmas at Campbell” is celebrated at 11 a.m. Sunday with a Christmas play immediately following the worship service. The theme is “Silent Night and Holy Night!” and everyone is invited.

First Presbyterian Church
A Candlelight Communion Service at 5 p.m. Dec. 24.

Fellowship Baptist Church
A Christmas Missions Market is open from noon-1 p.m. Sunday at the church, and from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday at Café Campesino’s new downtown location, 134 W. Lamar St. Give to Sumter Faith Clinic, The Heifer Project, The Fuller Center for Housing, and Jubilee Partners. For each donation, a specified friend or relative will receive an acknowledgment card stating the donation that was made in their name and giving information about the organization.

Love, Joy and Peace Ministries
A Watch Night service starts at 10 p.m. Dec. 31 at the Glover Center, 206 Cotton Ave. Speakers are Sister Joyce Jackson, Deacon Stanley White, the Rev. Calvin Laster and Pastor Shawn Smothers.

The annual Christmas program is at 11 a.m. Sunday during the worship service. Sunday school starts at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
