GSW signs cross country standout for 2016-17 season

AMERICUS – Georgia Southwestern State University head women’s cross country coach, Brittney Skiles, has announced the signing of Morgan Miller from Northside High School in Columbus, for the 2016 season.
Miller wrapped up her prep career by placing sixth at the 2015 City Championships, eighth at the Georgia High School Association Region 1-AAAAA meet and 77th of 216 runners at the GHSA Class AAAAA State Championship with a 5K time of 23:36.34
Miller’s personal best 5K time is 21:21.40, which she ran as a junior.
A varsity letter recipient at Northside, Miller was named the Patriots’ 2015 Runner of the Year.
Skiles returns seven runners next fall from a 2015 GSW roster that featured no upperclassmen.
