Sumter County Middle School’s students and teachers celebrated National Breast Cancer Awareness month by holding their very own Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Prior to the walk, students listened to a speaker informing them of the importance of spreading awareness and early detection methods. They also discussed why so many communities are involved in Breast Cancer Awareness activities. The students were well informed and excited to celebrate in recognition of the many survivors and loved ones during their walk.
