Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter announced as Ambassadors for Shriners Hospitals for Children

TAMPA, Fla. — Shriners Hospitals for Children® announces that  former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter have become ambassadors for the organization. As part of their support, Nobel Peace Prize recipient and noted humanitarian Jimmy Carter appears in a Valentine’s Day themed Shriners Hospitals for Children public service announcement (PSA).
The public is encouraged to visit shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/PSA to learn how former the Carters continue their legacy of philanthropy by helping the next generation receive the medical care they need.
Shriners Hospitals for Children provides specialty care for children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate at its 22 locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Shriners Hospitals manages all aspects of treatment, including surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
