Who is Ron Polk? Mr. SEC Baseball, the king of college baseball, has been called many things.
Whatever name one might want to hang on him, the most accurate would be “winner”.As in… winner of 1373 games who has been to College World Series eight times with three different teams.
A member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Polk has also written two of the most widely read books in the country on coaching baseball and softball.
For all the new coaches and old ones out there who have ever wanted professional advice on how to deal with parents, umpires, fans, kids, and a host of other issues that coaches must deal with, the answer very well may be with Coach Polk.
According to reports, his talks, such as the one taking place at Crisp County High on Monday March 7, 2016 at 7:00p.m., are nothing short of phenomenal.
Dinner will be served at the event and anyone attending should treat it as a learning experience. Cost is $25.00 including a meal. Coaches, from eight-and-under ball programs to adults programs, are encouraged to attend.
