Americus
Shipp Chapel Missionary Baptist Church
The church choir celebrates its 48th anniversary at 3 p.m. March 20. The public and all surrounding churches and groups are invited.

Fellowship Baptist Church
The 21st Annual Emily L. Weatherspoon Ministry Event, honoring a woman seminarian, is at 11 a.m. March 13 with Amanda Lewis, a student at McAfee School of Theology, as speaker. A reception  follows.

Christians on a Mission Deliverance Center Inc.
The 17th anniversary of Pastor Helen Mercer is celebrated during March. Each Sunday, service begin at 9:45 a.m. At 7 p.m. March 9, the Rev. Eugene Tookes and Mount Zion Baptist Church of Ellaville are in charge of the service; at 7 p.m. March 16, the Rev. George Edge and The Restoration Church of Americus; at 7 p.m. March 23, Apostle Doctor Juan Bellard and A Place to Worship Church of Riverdale; at 7 p.m. March 24, Apostle Doctor Pamela Miller and Majestic Kingdom Embassy Inc. of Camilla; and at 7 p.m. March 25, Pastor Mary Williams and Better Hope House of Deliverance Tabernacle of Columbus are in charge. Everyone is invited.

Big Bethel Baptist Church
The Women Ministry has its annual Women Day program at 11 a.m. March 13 with the theme “No Wasted Tears, Psalms 126:5.” Speaker is Evangelist Shaquanis Carr of Greater Zion Hope Holiness Church, Lee County. Everyone is invited.

Williams Road Church of Christ
Do you find it a struggle to keep your attitude upbeat and positive? Don’t we all? Join us in March for “Let’s Keep Calm and Win this War,” focusing on how to work together to win the struggle to feel loved, to be happy instead of depressed, and to be at peace instead of worried and anxious. Meetings start at 9:30 a.m. March 13, and 20. At 10:30 discussion groups will talk about the message.

Andersonville
St. Paul A.M.E. Church
Everyone is invited to the 30th choir anniversary at 3 p.m. March 13. Choirs are asked to render an A and B selection. Refreshments will be served.

Ellaville
Ellaville Baptist Church
Revival services continues with services at  7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Evangelist Scott Smith is guest speaker. Everybody is welcome.

Smithville
New Hope A.M.E. Church
The annual Family, Friends and Guests Day is celebrated at 11 a.m. March 20 with the Rev. Willie C. Kleckly of Montezuma bringing the message. Dinner will be served and everyone is invited.
