• Firefighters responded to 30 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to Mayo Street to a report of an open  hydrant flowing water. They shut it off.
• Firefighters responded to Wildwood and Cornelia circles to a report of power lines down.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at U.S. Highway 280 West and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to South Lee Street to a firm alarm. They found no hazards.
• Firefighters responded to North Lee Street to a report of power lines down. THey found phone and cable lines that had been pulled down by a semi.
• Firefighters responded to East Lamar Street to a traffic accident. They extricated an individual from the wreckage.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to Carravelle Boats, 111 Mathews Drive, to a fire which is under investigation.
• Firefighters responded to Brady Road to a report of an outside rubbish fire. The extinguished it and advised the owner about the city’s no-burn policy.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Davenport Street which is under investigation.

• Firefighters responded to 18 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to Timberlane Drive and stood by for a controlled burn.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Ga. Highway 49 North and District Line Road.
• Firefighters responded to DeSoto Seed Farm Road to a report of a woods fire. On arrival they found some cut timber on fire alo g with three log vehicles on fire.
• Firefighters responded to Mills Road to a report of wires down. Georgia Power was on scene when they arrived.
• Firefighters responded to Ga. Highway 49 North to a report of a tree over the road.
• Firefighters responded to James Hart Road to a report of a shed fire. They extinguished the fire and cooled the hot spots.
• Firefighters responded to Hooks Mill Road and extinguished a woods fire.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Heath Road in Schley County, which was canceled en route.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Bagley Street in Leslie.

• Keyundra M. Jenkins, 32, of Atlanta is charged with driving under the influence of multiple substances and possession of cocaine, and was jailed.
• Tracy M. Majors, 42, of 5975 Cass St., Preston is charged with DUI, driving while license is suspended or revoked and improper left or right turn, and was released on bond.
• Martin L. Mathis, 21, of Cordele is charged with DUI and open container, and was released on bond.
• Princeton B. Smith, 20, of 493 McDaniel St., Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
• Anthony B. Walker, 50, of 1346 Ga. Highway East, Americus is charged with false statements or writings; conceal facts or fraudulent documents in matters of government, and obstruction of law enforcement officer, and was jailed.
• Joseph White,  41, of 217 S. Jackson St., Americus is charged with aggravated assault, and was jailed.
• Antonio B. Wilborn, 29, of 105-B Norman Cole St., Americus is charged with probation violation, criminal trespass, two counts of obstruction of law enforcement, misdemeanor failure to appear in court for a finger printable charge and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and was jailed.
