AMERICUS — Early voting for the May 24 Primary Election begins Monday, May 2 and continues until through Friday, May 20, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Board of Elections Office in the Sumter County Courthouse.
There will also be early voting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday May 14 at the same location.
Voters are required to present a photo ID at the polling place and to select a Democrat, Republican or nonpartisan ballot.
