Mr. and Mrs. John McMath of Gardendale, Alabama, announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Dawn, to William David Cochran III, son of Mr. and Mrs. William David Cochran Jr. of Buena Vista, Georgia.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Colbert County High School in Leighton, Alabama, and a 2016 graduate of Faulkner University, Montgomery, Alabama, with a degree in elementary education. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson of Hartselle, Alabam,a and the late Mr. and Mrs. L.J. McMath of Palatka, Florida. She will begin employment at Coosada Elementary School in Millbrook, Alabama, in the fall.
The future groom is a 2011 graduate of Chattahoochee County High School, Cusseta, and also a 2016 graduate of Faulkner University with a degree in physical education. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Arp of Bremen, Georgia, and Mary Evelyn Cochran and the late William David Cochran of Americus, Georgia. He will be a graduate assistant for football at Faulkner University in the fall while he completes his master’s degree.
The wedding is scheduled for 2 p.m. (central time) July 9, 2016, at Decatur Highway Church of Christ in Gardendale, Alabama.
The couple plans to make their home in Prattville, Alabama.
